RECOVER BLS and ALS Rescuer Certification Course, June 20th, 8:00am-2:00pm, Albuquerque, NM

This RECOVER Rescuer BLS and ALS course is the in-person certification course for veterinary professionals who have already completed RECOVER's online BLS and ALS CPR courses.  Individuals seeking BLS Rescuer certification must physically demonstrate high quality BLS CPR skills (including performing chest compressions, intubation, and ventilation). Those seeking ALS Rescuer certification utilize their BLS skills as well as demonstrate the ability to apply the RECOVER CPR algorithm to a variety of presented ALS scenarios. All participants will work together as a team and utilize the other important skills necessary for a successful CPR response including a shared mental model, effective team communication skills, and being able to create “calm in the chaos” of running a code.
